Throughout her career, Char has worked hands-on with thousands of clients, helping them better understand their skin, choose products more thoughtfully and build routines they can follow with confidence.
As the founder of CHAR® Skincare, she brings together decades of real client experience, extensive professional education and a deeply personal commitment to honest, practical skincare guidance.
From Personal Experience to Professional Purpose
Char’s interest in skincare began long before she opened her studio.
Her early career included working with Clinique Cosmetics, where she gained firsthand experience helping customers understand products, routines and individual skin needs.
Her interest became even more personal when one of her sons experienced skin challenges at a young age. That experience strengthened her desire to understand skin more deeply—including how ingredients function, why products are formulated differently and how a complete routine can support healthier-looking, more comfortable skin.
What began as a personal search for answers grew into a lifelong professional commitment.
A Career Built on Continuing Education
Char’s education did not stop when she became licensed.
Over more than 20 years, she has completed more than 300 professional certifications and advanced trainings led by respected skincare educators, formulators, cosmetic chemists, scientists and industry professionals from around the world.
