Dry, Tight or Depleted Skin Starter Regimen
Guided by Char's 20+ years of hands-on studio experience. This barrier-first starter regimen is designed for dry, tight, depleted-looking, or under-supported skin using Char's recommended order: cleanse, tone, hydrate, and protect. The routine is intentionally simple and comfort-focused so skin can feel cushioned and supported before advanced products are introduced.
Optional evening support: use Barrier Bliss Cleansing Oil first when removing makeup, sunscreen, or daily buildup, then follow with Hydrating Cleanser – Combination.
Step 1 — Cleanse — Hydrating Cleanser – Combination
What it is: A gentle daily gel cleanser for dry, tight, depleted-looking, or combination skin.
Why it’s here: Begins the regimen with a soft, cushiony cleanse that lifts daily buildup while helping the skin feel comfortable and balanced.
Step 2 — Tone — Environmental Defense Toner Mist
What it is: A lightweight refreshing mist that helps prepare dry or depleted-feeling skin for hydration.
Why it’s here: Creates a gentle bridge between cleansing and moisturizer without making the regimen feel heavy or overly active.
Step 3 — Hydrate — Barrier Booster Crème
What it is: A rich yet breathable moisturizer with humectants, nourishing plant oils, and antioxidant support.
Why it’s here: Provides the main daily comfort step so dry or depleted-feeling skin feels cushioned, supported, and hydrated without a greasy finish.
Step 4 — Protect — Choose Your Sun Guard Finish
What it is: The final morning step, available in a clear Non-Tinted finish or a soft Tinted finish.
Why it’s here: Consistent daytime SPF completes the regimen. Choose the finish you will apply generously and consistently.
Sun Guard – Non-Tinted
Clear, lightweight and polished.
Sun Guard – Tinted
Soft tinted finish for a polished daytime look.
Optional — Barrier Bliss Cleansing Oil
What it is: A rinse-clean first cleanse that dissolves makeup, sunscreen, and daily buildup while helping the barrier stay comfortable.
Why it’s here: It is used before Hydrating Cleanser – Combination in the evening when makeup, sunscreen, or heavier daily buildup needs to be removed.
